cruiserweight title-holder Carlette Ewell, of
Winston-Salem, N.C., in a non-title bout at
Chapperall's Community Center on Saturday, Feb.
23, 2008, in Akron, Ohio. Vonda won the 10-round
bout in a unanimous decision.
